The Northeast Philly Toastmasters Club is a community-based communication and leadership enhancement and self-development group. Membership is open to anyone 18 years or older who would like to improve his/her public speaking, listening, presentation and leadership skills. Guests are always welcome to our meetings free of charge.
The main objective of our Club's Meetup Group is to attract members who are serious about improving their communication, public speaking, listening, presentation and leadership skills. Members of our Club benefit immensely by attending our weekly meetings regularly.
Members of this Meetup Group who have not attended any Meetup session within a two-month period after joining the group will be removed from our membership roster for inactivity.
We meet on Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30 p.m., at the House of Arts, located at 7938 Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19152.
Our fellow Toastmaster, David Bernstein, completed his 10th speech project in the "Competent Communication" Manual and will be receiving his "Competent Communicator" certificate from Toastmasters International in the near future. Click on the video below to listen to part of David's speech.
